
Em mais uma partida com boa vantagem e administração do placar, o Minas venceu a Unifacisa por 108 a 99 neste sábado (21), pela segunda semana do NBB, no Ginásio Hugo Ramos, em Mogi das Cruzes. Este foi o quarto triunfo seguido dos minas-tenistas no campeonato.

O time mineiro era o quinto do NBB, com quatro vitórias e uma derrota. Com o triunfo, a equipe segue no top 5 do campeonato. Já a Unifacisa sofreu o quarto revés na liga nacional, mas segue em 11º na tabela.
O Minas volta às quadras em 2 dezembro, às 20h30. A equipe enfrenta o Brasília, no Ginásio da Iesplan, No Distrito Federal, pela quarta semana do NBB. A Unifacisa entra em ação novamente no mesmo dia, mas às 14h30, diante do Cerrado, também na Iesplan.
O jogo
O primeiro quarto começou equilibrado, mas o Minas conseguiu abrir vantagem com Nesbitt e Johnson puxando a pontuação, somando 17 pontos. A Unifacisa conseguiu diminuir a diferença, mas logo se perdeu na marcação e viu os mineiros vencerem a parcial por 33 a 24.
O segundo período começou com os minas-tenistas novamente impondo o ritmo, chegando a colocar 16 pontos de vantagem. A equipe paraibana, contudo, com fortes presenças de Barnes, Betinho e Morillo, com 19 pontos somados, conseguiu se reencontrar e encostar no marcador. O jogo foi ao intervalo com o Minas na frente, por 59 a 49.
O terceiro período foi baseado na troca de cestas entre as equipes, algo positivo para o Minas, que conseguiu manter a diferença e foi ao quarto final vencendo por 82 a 71. Nos últimos dez minutos, a Unifacisa conseguiu diminuir a vantagem para sete, com bom jogo coletivo. Mas o Minas voltou a abrir no placar, também com jogo coletivo, e venceu por 108 a 99.
